You can still catch the end of the “Punjabi and tandoori food fiesta” at 24@43, the all-day diner at Crowne Plaza, on till Fri Jul 23. The lunch menu, created by executive chef Amit Gupta, will include dishes such as bhatti ka murgh, dum ka murgh, chhole kulcha and Jallandhari tangdi masala, as well as a variety of kababs cooked in the tandoor.

Cad-B
The Pune-based chocolate drink brand, AP Confectionery, has opened its first Cad-B outlet in the city. The offerings on their menu have been described by founder-director Ameet Pahilani as “neither ice creams nor shakes”, which you can “neither bite on nor sip”. They are available in nine flavours, including Dark Chocolate, Walnut, Snickers, Roasted Almond and Coconut, and come in three sizes: full, medium and small. Prices start at Rs 35.

Caperberry
Chef Abhijit Saha has created an all-new menu for his restaurant, Caperberry. There are offers on two-course and three-course tapas lunches too. Highlights include the Ayrshire potato salad deconstruction, which consists of roasted baby potatoes, onion, truffle oil, green pea gazpacho and beet foam (Rs 225), herb-crusted rack of New Zealand lamb with roasted potato, artichoke, served with mustard and red wine sauces (Rs 875) and the Valrhona chocolate duet – a combination of soft chocolate espresso mousse and baked chocolate mousse (Rs 300).

Coffee World
Drinks such as caramel cappuccino (prespo (small) size Rs 63; pro size Rs 69) and honey crunch frappe (Rs 95) and sandwiches like “BBQ chicken” (Rs 115) and “BBQ mushroom” (Rs 99) are new additions to the Coffee World menu. They’ve also introduced a “Diet menu” at their outlets, which includes a range of diet sandwiches, made with low-fat cheese and low-fat mayo dressing (each Rs 85), as well as a garden fresh salad (Rs 109) of lettuce, onion, capsicum, tomato, cucumber and carrot.

Kaati Zone
“Healthy Diet rolls” made with wheat flour parathas are the latest addition to the Kaati Zone menu. The chain claims their recently launched mixed vegetable diet roll contains just 163 calories. The vegetarian versions start at Rs 35, while the non-vegetarian diet rolls start at Rs 55. Like their other rolls, these are packaged to allow for a mess-free meal on the run.

Mama Mia
Mama Mia recently launched a range of mousse gelato cakes. The desserts are a combination of dark chocolate mousse and gelato flavours like hazelnut, After Eight or Irish coffee (Rs 60 for a slice; Rs 450 for 500g).

McDonald’s
The fast food chain now offers motion sensor games with its Happy Meals (vegetarian version Rs 79; chicken version Rs 99). Their recently launched “Mc Digi 4 Happy Meal” promotion offers people a choice of six hand-held video games including titles such as Ladybug and Submarine, developed exclusively for McDonald’s. The promotion is on till Sun Aug 8.

Olive Beach
Apart from sampling a variety of Mediterranean dishes at Olive Beach’s Sunday buffet, you can have thin-crust pizzas, sparkling wine and a choice of cocktails brought directly to your table. The brunch is priced at Rs 1,750 per person. The restaurant will also hold its fortnightly gourmet bazaar on Sat Jul 31, where they set up stalls to sell freshly baked bread, homemade preserves, a selection of dips, sauces and cured meats.

Polo Club
The humble sandwich goes gourmet at The Polo Club: the chefs have come up with a range of exotic fillings for your choice of bread, including lobster BLT and spianata Calabrese. You can expect to spend between Rs 450-Rs 850 per person. The sandwiches will be served at lunch and tea-time till the end of the month.

The Cream & Fudge Factory
The latest creation to be launched at this ice cream chain is the Boston cream pie. The dessert is a blend of chocolate and vanilla ice cream served in a crisp waffle bowl with a whipped cream rosette (Rs 120 for a single scoop; Rs 185 for a double scoop). The scoops are hand-folded on a frozen marble slab, along with your choice of mix-ins such as nuts, fruits, candy and fudge.
